As 2025 dawns upon us, Circle of Ouroborus's 25th record comes to serve as the swansong for this year. Here is premiered the Side A of "Käreitär", the new album of the Finnish legends, emerging like myrrh from the elemental cavern. Primitive and dreamy dwellings on the frontier between Folk and Ambient music. Atvar slowly strums and picks through delicate chords, with very Folk-ish transitions and progressions, yet done very slowly and with a beautifully crystalline reverb sound that makes it work more as meditative Ambient music, like done by acts like Thoughts on Air. This sound is very well complemented by the beautiful synthesizer work.
