UGRA KARMA is a death metal band formed in Kathmandu, Nepal in 1999. They were the first band to play metal music in the country, and are known as metal icons in South Asia, having performed at various metal festivals not only in Asia but also in the United States, Europe, and other parts of the world. Darker Than Darkness Records has been in contact with Dr, Sunil Dev Pant, the band's founder member. And Finally, we are pleased to announce the official re-release of their masterpiece, which is currently hard to find! Their first full album "Blood Metal Initiation" (Original released in 2001) is based on old school death metal and mixes elements to bestial black metal, and is considered a masterpiece. However, it has been out of print since its original release and has remained extremely difficult to find. For this reissue, one bonus track (another take of the song from the second full-album) has been added, and it has been remastered at Studio Nest. Other bonus content includes an interview with Dr, Sunil Dev Pant and a logo sticker is also included.
