• Orrery "Nine Odes To Oblivion" Double LP

17 years after its initial release, Orrery from Tasmania lift the veil once more, presenting their debut (and only) release on vinyl for the first time. The 'Nine Odes to Oblivion' double LP comes on black/blue galaxy vinyl, complementing Erin Amor's painting made especially for the cover of this reissue. The D-side of the release contains bonus material in the form of a live track and an ambient session. (This bonus material will only be available on the record, not on Bandcamp.) Forbidden Frequencies, a newly formed label with the intention of bringing this album to vinyl, has this to say about 'Nine Odes to Oblivion': "I heard 'Nine Odes to Oblivion' first when it was released on tape by Ruin Productions in 2008. Ever since, it's been one of my favorite albums of all time, and I still believe it's one of the best raw atmospheric black metal albums ever recorded. Everything around the vinyl reissue has been shaped to pay perfect tribute to the intention of the band, precisely how they felt it almost 20 years ago. May this album be carved into your memory forever."
