The debut full-length of Demstervold unleashed at last. Originally the solo project of Morden Demstervold (Blood Tyrant, Haat, Orodruin, Wroth, etc), for this release MD has been joined by Zagan on guitars and contributing with vocals also, as well as The Specter on session drums. The result is more worked around and polished sound than that which characterized the project's debut and split with The Wampyric Specter, but by any means changing the ideals and commitment to evil darkness that characterizes this project. With "Afgrondstocht" we're disgraced by 30 minutes of harrowing and tormented old school, mostly mid-paced Black Metal inspired by the Scandinavia traditions. A journey into the dark abyss of the woods and the human spirit, overcome with torment, peril and negativity.
