One of the most interesting undisclosed gems from the Dutch Black Metal scene is without any doubt D.R.E.P.!! Cynical, obnoxious, utterly misanthropic and toxic in every sense, this is the Dutch answer to Mysticum!! With its members firmly rooted in the scene since around the turn of the millenium, the trio comprises members that later would to be part of bands such as Duivel, Allfather and The Monolith Deathcult. It was around 2000 that the band started its activity, having composed and recorded most of its material back then, and which was supposed to be released as a split with the infamous Dutch act Fluisterwoud. In the end though - due to whichever reasons - this split release never came to be, and all that awesome material was archived, steadily slipping into oblivion… Nomad Snakepit Production decided to shake things up at the D.R.E.P. camp, and the biohazardous audio material was awaken from its letargic state. The infernal ovens of the D.R.E.P. industry have now been rekindled… Something very wicked this way comes! More information about this will follow soon.
