Ara's second full-length, and great follow up to the brilliant "Gurre" album from 2022. A continuation in the project's sound, Schnee carves another excellent album of brilliant Alpine mysticism. Through atavistic Black Metal sounds, rooted in genres tradition, Schnee definitely releases a slightly more orthodox album this time, devoted to romantic battlefields and magical idealism deeply rooted in the folklore of these lands, but still clearly induces some other influences particularly from Folk and Post-Punk music, especially on the thumping basslines, but also on the synths and often somewhat abstract sound structures. Another excellent album from this great project following along a similar path to its compatriots in Kringa, Brånd and Peace Vaults.
