• Christian Cosentino / Winterquilt "Portals to Perdition" Split LP

(Description from Christian Cosentino's bandcamp)

It was an honour working with Winterquilt, I've been a big fan since I heard O'Discordia in 2020 and love all of his work. IMO the end result of our split is extremely fun with a lovely sadistic undertone, I'm very proud of it. My songs are three tracks that where written during the period that I wrote High Rising Times. They were mostly written in late 2018, late 2019 and mid 2020 respectively (track-listed chronologically) and finished and recorded in late 2021 for the split. They're songs I love but didn't entirely fit into the emotional "world" of that album. To explain the weird title formatting: The titles in the brackets are what is printed on the vinyl release but I felt that using the project placeholder names was somehow more authentic for these songs because in hindsight I had to force titles and lyrics (I'm sure many artists can relate to how hard titling things is particularly). It is a bit weird but subconsciously the project file names are still the "real titles" to me and I caved in to that instinct.
