Bestial Summoning was an early second-wave black metal band from the Netherlands (most likely the first from their country) with two demos and a full-length. They had a sizable following in the underground scene in the beginning of the '90s. The full-length The Dark War Has Begun is dedicated to former Mayhem vocalist Dead. The album is said to have been 100% improvised in the studio as a ritual.
